This area is so populated that it was easy to find 5 passengers that wanted to fly North, to Utsunomiya. It was an ideal leg to continue my Tour and an opportunity to fly over Tokyo without deviating too much. So I accepted and took off directly towards Shibuya.
Tokyo is the capital of Japan and the most populous city in the world, with 14 million residents in 2023. I don't see any restriction to fly under 3,000 ft over Tokyo, so I visit its most famous areas and buildings, leaving behind the Tokyo Skytree Tower, the tallest tower in the world, very recommendable in real life and from where the Fuji can be seen on a clear day.
From here, few minutes flying North, leaving the mess of the city behind and enjoying the semi-rural areas with crop fields all around hills.
Now, my mind is set at the Kuril islands. Somehow, the interesting part of Japan I wanted to visit is behind. And, in front of me, really bad weather and a rush to reach Hokkaido as soon as possible, since weather predictions are even worst from now on.
